I am passionate about creating a safe, warm, and culturally humble environment for individuals and couples to explore their unique life shaping experiences and to be their authentic selves. I utilize a collaborative approach and a systems perspective to gain a deeper understanding of my clients. I enjoy supporting clients in understanding their needs, establishing healthy boundaries, and exploring their diverse identities with a special focus on multicultural and intergenerational issues, anxiety, stress management, and life transitions. I have had success working within the LQBTQ+ POC community as well as with children of immigrants. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I understand the need to develop effective communication skills to work through intergenerational conflicts and acculturation differences in order to build healthy relationships and improve family dynamics.
