About
I practice through the lenses of DBT, CBT, and existential therapy. I believe clients have the capacity to develop their own solutions and that, through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, meaningful movement toward a desired quality of life is possible. My therapeutic style is straightforward and direct, and I invite open communication about clients’ experiences in therapy throughout the process. I most often work with individuals who have experienced trauma, and through partnership, my goal is to help clients move from surviving to thriving. I am a prior service turned mental health professional. I served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic from 2009 to 2012, with one deployment to Iraq. I hold two master’s degrees, in addition to a bachelor’s and an associate degree. I bring specialized knowledge and clinical focus in trauma, sexual concerns, and disordered eating.
