Hello my name is Melissa and I believe that the interactions that we have can have a lasting impact on someone’s life, therefore, I strive to engage with people in a positive, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and understanding manner. I am licensed in New Jersey and New York. I have clinical experience in collaborating with individuals in multiple settings such as outpatient treatment in which substance use disorders, behavioral issues, and mental health were addressed. In this capacity, I also provided caregiver support whether it be a significant other, parent, or child. I also have clinical experience working in a medical capacity where I provide support to individuals and their families who are adjusting to and/or having difficulty adjusting to medical diagnoses. Throughout my career, I have worked in the aforementioned capacity as well as provided support to foster parents
