There is nothing worse than worrying about your child! If it's anxiety, a phobia, depression, difficulty in school or with peers...whatever it is.... I know it is hard. Looking for help can be hard too. My name is Melissa Urbanek. I really LOVE what I do. I get to work with young people to support them and help them through whatever it is that is getting in their way. I am a telehealth therapist that serves clients in Minnesota & Wisconsin. I specialize in working with children, teens, college age and young adults. I love to be playful and make therapy a good experience for all of my clients! I am solution focused and want to find ways to help my clients make immediate progress. I utilize play therapy, CBT, and positive psychology frameworks. If my clients are interested, I like to use tools, worksheets and exercises to help give them concrete things to be learning and working on.
