My passion is helping people overcome and grow through the traumatic and painful experiences of life that have resulted in maladaptive emotional and relational functioning. Grace and compassion are the foundation of my ministry. Because we are triune beings created in God's image, my counseling philosophy focuses on the entire human experience. I offer faith-based, biblically sound, neurologically informed, and Spirit-led counseling from a psychodynamic perspective to address the roots of distressing symptoms. I specialize in the treatment of Trauma/PTSD, attachment deficits, grief, anxiety, and the symptoms that so often accompany them. Customizing treatment to the individual client may include a combination of traditional talk therapy using a variety of modalities, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback.
