All therapy stems from the building of a relationship -- a partnership -- between the therapist and the client. There can be no progress or client satisfaction without trust and that trust can be life changing and last long after the therapy has concluded. I have worked with countless numbers of children, adolescents and adults who began treatment filled with guilt, worry and stress. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than to see them over time shed those negative emotions and step back into life with the tools necessary to become successful and empathetic individuals.
