I offer in-person psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults in Westport and surrounding areas. I have extensive experience working with kids ages 12-18 with emotional and behavioral challenges, specifically those who have difficulty in school, kids who "shut down," kids prone to anger and opposition, depression, anxiety, and kids who struggle dealing with hardship. I also work with young adults in their 20s and 30s with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, loss, grief, anger, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, among others. The process of therapy is unique in that it allows us to explore, together, the known and the unknown aspects of ourselves. It can be challenging at times, especially when examining patterns or defenses that have perhaps worked in the past but no longer serve us.
