About
I began providing psychotherapy in Contra Costa in 1996 while obtaining my MA Degree with a Specialization in Couple and Family Therapy at John F. Kennedy's Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Since then I have continued working in Solano County and more recently Contra Costa County with individual adults, children & teens, their families, and with couples. I facilitated men's groups in a jail-based substance abuse treatment program for four years while working at Youth And Family Services until 2005. I've been in private practice since then. We might find ourselves "re-living a nightmare." By delving into the past and addressing feelings associated with difficult experiences, we can finally conclude we are no longer haunted by the past. Effective psychotherapy facilitates this growth with patient and empathic presence.
