As a queer, second-generation Korean American raised in a religious immigrant home, I am no stranger to the challenges that come from navigating cultural confusion, emotional repression, and polarizing identities. As a clinician, I do not label my clients' concerns as issues, but rather, as important needs just waiting to be explored and met. I enjoy supporting clients explore their emotions, experiences, and relationships, empowering them to make their own decisions based on their core values rooted in what feels most safe and authentic.
