I have been practicing as an LCSW for the past 7 years and much of my focus has been with adults who are dealing with addiction, depression, and life transitions. I enjoy utilizing creative solutions to help work with the problems my clients are facing. I find this promotes a more interactive conversation, providing the opportunity for fresh perspectives and inventive brain storming as a way to get our neurotransmitters firing. The more collaborative and conversational our sessions, the better chance we have to get you closer to the place you want to be in life. I approach addiction from different angles including sobriety, harm reduction, 12 steps, spirituality, or just trying to manage our use. Regardless, we will always try and determine “What we can control and what we cannot.”
