I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Accelerated Resolution Therapist. I am also EDIT™ Certified I Eating Disorder Treatment Clinician working with teens and adults. In the beginning of my counseling career, I served individuals in the substance abuse population where I worked with women, men, adolescents, and young adults suffering from drug addiction. Fast forward to today, I continue the practice of my past experiences and I specialize in working with individuals who have trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), anxiety, SUD, depression, life transitions, LGBTQ+, (especially trans individuals), sex issues, and couples/marital issues. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thought processes and negative behaviors, improving regulating emotions, and the development of personal coping skills that targets around the current issue(s). Many other techniques are utilized to meet different need in therapy sessions.
