Hello and welcome to my profile! I believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. My goal is to create a safe and therapeutic environment for each of my clients. I like to use the first three sessions to get to know the client, establish trust and identify what it is they want to work on. Throughout treatment it is important to me that the client feels as though they are in control of their journey. I like to view myself as a guide for the client while they explore areas that need our attention. I would consider myself a trauma informed therapist. I have a history of working with individuals whom have experienced traumatic events, have depression or anxiety, are experiencing relational problems and those with eating disorders. While I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches I would consider Internal Family Systems to be my preferred approach.
