A successful therapeutic relationship will be supportive, empowering, positive, but also difficult, at times uncomfortable, and often challenging. We rarely find ourselves seeking therapy when everything is comfortable and going well; instead, we are feeling helpless, unlovable, angry, isolated, and stuck in situations without solutions. Things that once made sense no longer do, we are confused, fearful, and just want to feel better. Imagine not feeling so afraid, understanding how/where your thoughts come from, or just simply being able to be happy; these are the expectations of our work together.
