Response-Ability. My goal is to help you act with integrity, increasing the ability-to-Respond via chosen behaviors as opposed to Reaction. Pattern change requires practice & compassion as well as honesty, courage, support & new skills. My experience lends itself to those touched by abandonment, trauma & addiction - be it those addressing addictions themselves, or those affected by another's. I’m also here to support life cycle changes: parenting, care-giving, grief, new edges. There is no 'fixing', but dismantling a myth of being broken. Our greatest challenges are unsprouted strengths. Our task is to us usher adaptive growth. My therapeutic framework integrates Acceptance Commitment & Dialectical Behavioral Therapies; Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, philosophy, 12 Step Principles, & arts. I have been a student of martial arts & meditation since age five. These practices have a profound influence on my work. My style is often direct & conversational.
