With the rapid expansion of the gambling industry and accessibility, more and more find it hard to control this behavior. Generally, I use a combination of traditional cognitive behavioral techniques with strategies to improve motivation, set goals, and increase acknowledgement and acceptance that the treatment goals are attainable.
