I may not be the right therapist for everyone. A successful therapeutic relationship begins with a rapport between the therapist and their patient. Often, patients will meet me and we have an instant empathic connection. We both have a gut feeling it will develop into a good working alliance. My goal is to help patients become more aware of their obstacles, to find ways to resolve their inner conflicts, and make better choices. Patients are often unaware of how deeply other people and experiences have impacted them.
