I am a licensed therapist. I have been trained and educated as a Social Worker and have a PhD in Counseling Studies. I have practiced in many areas such as substance abuse, marriage and couples counseling, family systems, culture and acculturation processes, and LGBTQIA+. Overall, I would describe myself as a client-centered therapist, and I mean that to be applied in its broadest sense- it is the core characteristic of what I do within any therapeutic environment.
