My personal path can be defined as the classic heroine's journey - filled with myriad invitations to venture into the "dark night of the soul." This time spent in darkness was also my awakening. I am proud of my hard earned "warrior marks" and the subsequent insatiable creative spirit that sprang forth from these experiences. This process also enhanced an already deeply curious mind, increased my sense that anything is possible, and made me more determined to help others. I now see life as happening for us, rather than to us. Yes, tragic events happen and it is up to each one of us to learn and grown from these experiences. I utilize collaboration, solution focused therapy, somatic awareness, tapping, ancestral nutrition, time in nature, art making, writing, dream work, imagination and humor. My areas of research include metabolic psychiatry, hormonal imbalances, epigenetics, dementia, and end of life care.
