As a Certified Nature-Informed therapist, I integrate nature-based therapeutic methods into my work with clients. This evidence-based approach integrates the restorative power of the natural environment with other established treatments. Once we’ve developed rapport in the office, I offer outdoor sessions held walking and/or sitting at parks and on trails in Takoma Park and Rock Creek Park. Pushing beyond traditional confines of a physical counseling office or telehealth, together we can utilize space and time in nature to boost emotional regulation and best help work through anxieties, challenging times, and life transitions.
