Hello, I am a Grand Valley State University graduate and when it came to choosing a profession it was easy as I was born a Clinical Social Worker. Over the years I have worked with individuals and families that have experienced substance abuse, socioeconomic concerns, domestic violence, sexual assault, physical, emotional abuse/neglect. Oakley, The Certified Therapy Goldendoodle, has been working side by side with me since he was 9 weeks. With the help of his professional dog trainer he has made great progress. I believe in building a positive and healthy therapeutic relationship in order to support those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting needs, and life transitions. Techniques utilized are Strength Based, Person Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
