I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor with experience working in a variety of settings in the mental health field. I am also EMDR trained and I currently work with individuals, couples and families, focusing on developing solutions to the many problems that life can present. In addition to owning my private practice, I currently work as a counselor in an outpatient clinic in the addictions field. I have experience working in residential settings, school counseling, inpatient mental health, inpatient chemical dependency, PROS services and outpatient chemical dependency. The majority of my experience has been working with adults, in both individual and group counseling settings with mental health barriers including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, abuse, anger management, substance abuse/dependence, and couples and family conflict.
