Mieke believes that change is a choice that begins with simply asking for help. Mieke works primarily with adult females recovering from trauma related issues, body image issues, and food relationship issues. Her counseling approach is client centered & solution focused. Combining her own personal recovery with her years of clinical experience, she understands the tough challenges that both food and body image can present. Her passion in counseling is to help guide clients through the process of hope, healing, & renewed faith. View 5 Photos Mieke is a certified EMDRIA practitioner (EMDR) and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. She is a supervisor for CEDS-C candidates and a CPCS supervisor for State of Georgia licensure candidates. In addition, she is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor with training under Eveylyn Tribole, RD. She is currently a level 1 RO-DBT counselor as well.
