About

My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore challenging thoughts and feelings related to chronic illness, compassion fatigue, burnout, aging, and end of life. I also work with college students facing various life transitions. I use a strengths-based approach to help clients identify resources they already possess to cope with daily stressors and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief. I utilize mindfulness-based techniques, like breathwork and muscle relaxation, to promote physical and psychological well-being. Many years of experience working with chronically ill individuals and their caregivers, as well as healthcare professionals, in an oncology clinic have given me insight into the impact chronic health conditions have on the mental health of both patients and providers.
