My client feels distressed while running into my office. They are struggling with childhood trauma. They find the details of the trauma to be heavy, overwhelming, and anxiety causing. They never felt comfortable discussing this trauma with anyone else, and are hoping I am trust worthy as a person, and as a professional. They are from the Balkans and struggle with English. This has complicated their mental health journey and the stigma from their culture makes it even worse. They believe that this trauma is causing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and lack of sleep. They are looking for a safe place to heal from all of it.
