Therapy is where you bring your concerns and joys into a space between us that is safe to hold the richness of your experiences. I am well-acquainted with perfectionism and shame. I am an ace who used to be in a mixed orientation marriage; a secular agnostic humanist counselor who loves his Christian friends and used to be a Christian himself; and a newcomer turned US citizen who used to go by an "American" nickname to fit in. I believe our pivots are vital signs of life that is learning and healing.
