I seek to help adolescents, young adults, women, couples, and families develop an understanding of triggers, develop the freedom of emotional regulation, and find peace. I believe every human being has the power to heal themself. They need a safe space to do that and providing that space is incredibly rewarding. I conducted in home family therapy using the Functional Family Therapy model. My lived experience is vast as a mixed race African American woman. There are reasons behind maladaptive behavior that can be instructive for growth and change.
