Finding a counselor is hard. It takes courage to reach out at a time when you're feeling most vulnerable. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, a life transition, or whatever has brought you here, my role is to provide safe and non-judgmental support. I will assist you in reaching the goals you have for yourself by helping you to exercise your own strengths, rather than to give you advice. Together, we can discover and work towards solutions that benefit you and your unique set of circumstances. I welcome the opportunity to meet you! My approach to counseling is strengths-based and person-centered. I am a very good listener and my goal is to achieve an authentic and empathic relationship with my clients. I also incorporate mindfulness into my work. Mindfulness is an evidence-based way to help alleviate many symptoms and can help with self-limiting thoughts/behaviors.
