About

My therapeutic practice as a Queer Black Femme is fundamentally guided by my intersecting experience, viewing human suffering through the lens of socio-cultural narratives. I specialize in Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), recognizing it as an atmosphere of prolonged, systemic trauma, not a single event. For marginalized groups, C-PTSD stems from interlocking oppressions: racial violence/intergenerational trauma for Black individuals, homophobia/rejection for Queer individuals, and misogynoir/gender-based violence for Femmes. These narratives multiply the potential for trauma. View 4 Photos C-PTSD fractures the sense of self, leading to identity fragmentation and deep shame driven by internalized toxic scripts. Healing requires reclaiming identity: a process of radical validation where the self becomes a source of power, not pathology. My commitment is to decolonizing therapy practices, creating a space where healing is possible.
