My name is Mireya and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. Life has a way of introducing unexpected and difficult trials at us which can throw the mind and body into a state of fear, anxiety, or panic. Feelings such as hopelessness and depression can make it difficult to find a way out of it, especially for kids, but I am here to tell you that it is possible! I have experience helping children learn to express their emotions healthily, providing support for individuals struggling with their own mental health battles, and overall assisting clients to learn how to emotionally regulate their bodies based on their personal needs. While working with kids is my passion, I also have loved working with adults/teenagers. I am currently getting certified to work with couples. I believe that you are capable of overcoming your trials, and I understand that the journey to that can be intimidating. I am here to help you through it.
