Graduating from Doane College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Missy has a diverse professional background, including working with major mental health issues, addiction concerns, research, and child welfare. One of her passions, working with teens, emerged from her work with juvenile probation, highlighting her adaptability and dedication to new challenges. Growing up with a deaf mother, Missy is a fluent ASL communicator and approved provider for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Missy promotes inclusive care and loves working with a diverse cultural population.
