I am Moira Howard, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the field of therapy. Since 2009, I have specialized in trauma, addictions and anxiety, providing compassionate care to individuals seeking healing and support. Each therapy session is tailored to the unique needs and goals of the individual, ensuring that the support I provide is aligned with their personal journey. As a certified yoga instructor, I also integrate mindfulness, a variety of breathing exercises, and yoga techniques into my practice, helping clients achieve a holistic approach to healing. I am highly trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a proven therapeutic approach that has helped many of my clients reduce the effects of trauma. In addition to trauma therapy and EMDR intensives, I focus on teaching emotional regulation skills, mindfulness and healthy coping skills to empower clients in managing life’s challenges.
