My approach to counseling is focused on the collaborative relationship between client and counselor, where acceptance and understanding of who you are as an individual begins. Your concerns along with your interest in being better fulfilled as a person are of the utmost importance to me. I believe wellness and personal development are processes that are ongoing and changeable over time. No matter your familial background, past experiences, or current struggles – You Are Not Stuck and have an opportunity to grow throughout your lifetime and make meaningful strides as a person, in relationships, and belonging in community. After many years working as a veterinary professional I have a focused interest in the human-animal bond and how our connection to animals enhances our overall well-being. A therapy cat will be present in sessions. I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you on your journey toward self-awareness, self-compassion, and growth.
