Not knowing where to begin can be quite scary and overwhelming. I want to acknowledge how brave it is to take that first step in your search for a therapist. I strive to create a safe space for individuals where there is trust, acceptance, and empowerment. I believe in the power of feeling heard and seen, and I am committed to the idea that every person's strength can and will be the catalyst in finding hope and healing. I work with individuals (ages 18+) and am accepting new clients. My counseling approach is unique to your situation and developed from a mix of cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, and relational modalities. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to desensitize/reprocess traumatic memories to reduce present-day symptoms. For OCD, I utilized evidenced based methods such as ERP or I-CBT.
