I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, humor, and heart. I work with individuals and families, and I have a particular passion for working with couples. I welcome my clients just as they are, without judgment or expectation. My approach is inclusive and sensitive to the many factors that shape our lives, including race, gender, sexual orientation, neurological makeup, and socioeconomic status. In my work, I draw from Narrative and Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting and Trauma-focused CBT (among others), to create a safe space where clients can explore their past without fear of re-traumatization. I integrate somatic practices to support awareness of how emotions live in the body and how trauma responses can impact our nervous systems. By staying present and attuned, I tailor my support to meet each client’s unique needs.
