I was born to a Caucasian mother and an African American father. I married into a Mexican American family. I had my first child at 15 and a master’s degree at 24. Why do I share all of this up front? Because I see life through many different angles. And it’s beautiful! But it doesn't always feel that way. Feelings of loneliness, confusion, shame and sadness are part of the human experience. Relationships are messy. But the biggest battle we face is often the one within ourselves. My goal for you in therapy is for you to gain the skills and support you need to maximize your ability to manage whatever has brought you to this moment.
