Teachers currently balance lengthy to-do lists, learn new curriculum, adhere to assessment schedules, carry the emotions of their students, navigate complex workplace dynamics, and respond to caregiver requests all while hopefully having a moment to use the restroom and drink some water. While a rewarding profession, it is one that is becoming increasingly easier to burn out in and my goal is to support educators in sustaining fulfilling careers while maintaining their own mental wellness.
