About
am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who has served Southern Maryland and the DC metropolitan area for over 20 years. A Nationally Board Certified Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association, and fully insured through HPSO. As a former Law Enforcement Officer, I am passionate about assisting those who have served as first responders and in the military; treating PTSD, and a focus on vicarious or secondary trauma. I also have a passion for working with children and adults diagnosed with ADHD. This often misdiagnosed and under-reported neurodevelopment disorder is stigmatized and misrepresented as being “lazy” or “unmotivated”, while understating the extreme barriers that contribute to one’s ability to meet societal norms of being goal or task oriented and organized.
