I help people recover from rape and sexual trauma. I know what it's like to wake up every day feeling disconnected and afraid. I know the depression, anxiety, and confusion that accompany survival. I know that it takes time to understand what you've been through; that it was real, it wasn't imagined, and that any damage done was not of your own making. I also know that healing is possible. It is possible for you to feel confident and safe in your own body. To trust yourself and have faith in your choices. To know that you are not your past, you are already whole and complete, and YOU are the expert on your own life. Together, we will combine clinical knowledge, intuitive wisdom, and life experience (both yours and mine), for a deeply personal & individualized treatment approach. The more we understand ourselves and our behavior, the more we are able to recognize what works and what doesn't. This helps get us back into the driver's seat of our own lives.
