I work with clients who have histories of trauma varying in severity. This can look like trouble with regulating and making sense of emotions. In terms of diagnoses, I often work with clients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, manic episodes, and dissociation. My clients want to regain their sense of agency. My clients become more aware of the connection between current behavioral tendencies and pivotal events from their past. My clients become comfortable feeling uncomfortable exploring issues and experiencing the emotions that arise. My ideal clients understand that progress is dependent on dedication and consistency.
