My approach to therapy is to honor where you’ve been, while helping you move toward growth that starts with your present conditions and perspectives. We often feel like silencing what troubles us is less painful– I join with clients to access this part of ourselves gently and with great care. I see the therapeutic relationship as a place to practice new dynamics and change past patterns of behavior that no longer serve us. Essential to my philosophy is that individuals are impacted by larger, systemic forces.
