Hi! I am a clinical social worker (LCSW-C) based in Maryland. I am also licensed in DC. I received my MSW from Adelphi University in NY and I have been a practicing therapist for 10 years. I help adults navigate life transitions, complex trauma, and challenging relationships to foster self-understanding and develop new coping strategies for the challenges that life presents. I only provide individual therapy. In our first session, we will discuss background information, establish therapy goals, and work together to create a safe space for self-exploration. As a first-generation American and an IPV survivor, my lived experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach. I possess an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals from immigrant backgrounds, including cultural complexities and the pressure to succeed.
