About
Reaching out for help can be scary. I aim to make that process a smooth one with support and encouragement. I am a Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience as a therapist. My clients come to me with a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, illness in themselves or a loved one, and much more. What I see time and time again that they have in common is a feeling of powerlessness. Whether it be over their symptoms, their family members, relationships and even themselves. I help them to understand themselves and their circumstances more fully. Working together in a warm, supportive therapeutic relationship, we collaborate to regain some of that power back, making changes in one's circumstances, life and ones' self, at their own pace. I hold degrees from Fordham University and SUNY Stony Brook in psychology and social work and worked as an adjunct professor in addition to my counseling practice.
