For over 40 years, I have been helping clients who are in the midst of life transitions: career change, separation/divorce, aging, coping with chronic illness and all types of loss. As we face challenging times, anxiety and depression may be experienced as well. None of us gets through life without facing some of these issues. It's what equalizes us...what helps us see the humanity in each other. I conceptualize therapy as a way to better understand ourselves and others and to identify barriers to our living more consciously and completely. When this is pursued with a therapist with whom you have a trusting connection, much is healed and accomplished.
