What matters more than what you know is how much you care. I believe that statement embodies who I am and what I bring to practice. I have worked with a wide range of ages and populations, not just kids/teens but adults too! My experience includes helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, divorce/parenting/blended families, grief/loss, aging, women's concerns, surviving various forms of abuse, autism, intellectual disabilities, immigration issues, and even navigating college/career processes. I have worked as a school counselor, a school-based therapist, and now am serving in practice. I enjoy working with all ages! With adults I use: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based approach, exploring relationship patterns, evaluating self-limiting behaviors. With kids: DBT, play therapy, behavior-based approach.
