I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of CT. I have practiced as an LCSW for 15+ years and worked as a master of social worker (MSW) for several years prior to becoming licensed. I have practiced in a number of settings. I have utilized multiple treatment modalities. I offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to work on their own individual challenges and take steps toward personal growth. I utilize tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and/or applied behavior analysis as applicable to each individualized therapeutic need(s). In the first session, I would have reviewed your intake questionnaire. I will seek clarification for any missing information and may need to ask some follow up questions. I will ask questions related to safety. I will want to establish goals in treatment which would be related to your current challenge/presenting problem or concern.
