Nawausa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC-S who provides individuals a safe therapeutic space to express and explore their thoughts and feelings related to various issues such as transitions, life issues, relationship issues, & marriage and family challenges. Her goal as a therapist is to support individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and genders by providing respect and unconditional positive regard. Nawausa is specially trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR, a highly effective therapy technique designed to help individuals process and overcome trauma and distressing life experiences. In addition, she utilizes therapeutic modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Therapy.
