Hi! I am a fully licensed professional counselor. I am also a woman, a mother, a partner and a person of color. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with adolescents and adults. I am sensitive to, and work with millennials & Gen Z. As a millennial myself, I understand issues specific to what adolescents and young adults are going through. I also love to help people gain an understanding of their mental health issues ; as psychoeducation and proper tools are very important in the therapeutic process. I am very passionate about my work and the relationships I have with my clients. It is a privilege. I specialize in a multitude of therapeutic approaches including person centered, humanistic and CBT. However, my favorite and most effective approach is a combination of Internal Family Systems Therapy (Parts Work) and Narrative Therapy. I help create and re-author narratives & use IFS to help my clients recover from trauma.
