Christians often struggle with depression, anxiety, addictions or other issues. These struggles can led you to feel as if you are defective or damaged beyond God's ability to repair. This couldn't be further from the truth. Nothing is impossible with God, and even our deepest wounds and behaviors that fill us with shame and guilt are not beyond reach for his healing. Often, Christians struggle to find a counselor who shares their world view and can understand their beliefs and needs. Sometimes, you can become discouraged by others around you who are trying to help, but don't have the training to help you obtain needed healing. Although I am a Christian counselor, I have training in secular psychology. I teach my clients to understand how God designed their bodies to function and to live in a way that honors and works within their limitations. It is my goal to provide a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere that will help you to get to the core of the issues that you need to address.
