Most of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+ and many are navigating challenges like complex trauma, substance use, gender exploration or transitioning, persistent depression and/or anxiety, grief, or feelings of isolation. Some are working through relationship dynamics like open relationships or consensual non-monogamy, while others are processing aging, family rejection, or how to navigate anti-LGBTQIA+ policies and attitudes. They often come to therapy because they don't feel like they have anyone else to go to and to feel more emotionally equipped, and to live more fully and authentically.
