I am a licensed (independent) clinical social worker & licensed marriage family therapist who earned my MSW from SF State and my PhD from the Smith College School for Social Work. My interests lie in supporting those seeking to get to know themselves better through the development of an authentic and trusting relationship with a therapist. I use a psychodynamic relational approach, EMDR, IFS, and CBT interventions. I have over 25+ years of clinical experience helping clients overcome childhood trauma, identity-based trauma (race/gender identity/sexual orientation) relationship challenges, parenting stress, career changes, and more. My goal is to help my clients develop a safe & trusting relationship with themselves that will help them navigate through life's challenges. Many people have experienced abandonment by others and subsequently, abandon themselves as they go through life. My role is to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves in order to create a joy-filled life.
